These veterans possess a deep understanding of history, politics, and global perspectives. Grounded in the principles of servant leadership and the U.S. Constitution, they recognize that some of America's most prosperous and united times were during the 1950s and 1960s, often referred to as "The Happy Days."
During this era, Congress was composed of 70% to 80% military veterans, fostering a shared commitment to national values and constitutional rights (Pew Research link). The country was also led by Presidents who had served in the military, such as Eisenhower, JFK, Johnson, Nixon, and Ford. Despite their differing political affiliations—Republican and Democrat alike—they all deeply understood and valued American culture and the Constitutional rights endowed by our Founding Fathers."
